Questions buyers ask before ordering

What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 patches — enough to test the mark on your own product — with bulk tiers that drop steeply at the quantities a decorator or a brand programme needs.
How fast will my patches arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished patches ship in about 2 weeks. A new debossing die adds time on the first order only, because it has to be cut and proofed.
Can you engrave a black leather patch?
Technically yes and practically no. Engraving is a burn, and a dark burn on black leather has nothing to contrast against. For a black brand, deboss it or use a pale hide — we will show you both before you order.
Why does the leather type change the engraving?
Because the mark IS the burn. Vegetable-tanned leather scorches to a deep brown against its own pale surface. Chrome-tanned goes grey and smells acrid doing it. The hide is effectively the ink.
Which backing should I choose?
Sew-on for anything industrially laundered — it is the only method that survives. Heat-seal for cotton, canvas, fleece, caps and bags. Never heat-seal onto a waterproof membrane; the press destroys it.
How thick should a patch be?
Thick enough not to curl and thin enough not to dish on a curved panel. It is a fit decision taken from the host item, not a quality ranking — thicker is not better, it is just thicker.
Do you supply patches loose?
That is mostly what we do. Patches, tags and labels are supplied loose for your own decorators and machinists to apply, with the border, holes or backing set up for the method you use.
Do you redraw artwork?
Yes, free. Patches are small and both engraving and debossing have a minimum feature size, so hairline rules and small type close up. We redraw at the real size and show you exactly what will survive.
